When you have downloaded this file you must go onto itunes, when you see your device quicky hold shift and then quickly click (don't hold down shift for too long and take to long to click, you must do this action quickly). Once you have done that, it will bring up the page allowing you to update your apple device with the firmware you have just downloaded.
